Cazcie's Graphic Design Founded in 1979
1979- I began doing artwork as a business. Using the avatar name Cazcie. I started out doing window displays, Signs, logos and various other things for each new company I contacted.
1988- I purchased my first computer while attending college. I sought out every avenue I could within my college to become computer literate as well as artistic. However the community college I was attending had very little to offer. I also began working as an instructor teaching ceramics, molds, and pouring, cleaning, and painting techniques.
1990- After relocating I went to college again and took computer maintenance and repair as well as several other computer classes learning software like Coral draw and Paint Shop Pro. I continued doing outside artwork creating logos and letterhead designs as well as volunteering for a non profit organization to help others create resumes. I graduated with a 3.5 GPA
1995- Concentrating more in the use of digital medium to create letterheads and logos for various businesses, I also began working in an art gallery and learned the techniques of custom framing and matting for limited edition prints.
2000- The world of 3D opened up to me, and I began creating images using programs such as Bryce and poser. I also began creating various kinds of banners for web sites that advertised 3D artwork. I was also contacted by Taschen Books and asked if I would consider having some of my artwork published. I agreed. The book Digital Beauties was published in 2001.
2003- I was contacted by Five Star Publishing to do some cover art for various fantasy books. Over the course of the next 2 years I completed 4 book covers for them. The art director that I was contacted through discontinued his employment there and after asked if I would also complete a book cover for his own book, which I did.
2006- To this date I continue to do art on the computer, creating images, 3D objects and textures, some of which are sold on various 3D sites which are listed below.
